Description

The Social & Paid Media Copywriter is responsible for delivering engaging, on-brand copy appearing on all social media & paid media platforms. This role works closely with cross-functional teams on a daily basis, including marketing, creative & buying, to ensure that language across social & paid media is cohesive and adherent to the established copy guidelines.

Key job responsibilities
- Write impactful, strategic copy to appear on all social & paid media channels

- Translate the established Zappos voice & high-level Tier 1 campaigns into effective social-first moments that are brand right & culturally relevant

- Own the Zappos social-first voice, including building on the established style guide, as well as developing future best practices in partnership with the editorial team

- Collaborate cross-functionally on a daily basis with graphic designers, art directors & marketers

- Track competitors & keep up with the ever-evolving retail landscape

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business or equivalent, or Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+ years working as a copywriter on a marketing or creative team; fashion retail experience required
- 2+ years professional experience copywriting for social media (Meta, Instagram & TikTok)
- near-perfect grammar, editing & proofing skills
- curiosity & passion for fashion retail and the latest social media-driven trends a must
- a digital portfolio showing strong examples of past work

Preferred Qualifications

- in-house brand experience preferred
- paid media copywriting experience preferred
- familiarity with fundamental marketing principles (the customer journey, marketing funnel, etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $102,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
