About the Role

We are seeking a Product Owner to support the strategy, lifecycle management, and commercial success of our Emerging and Transitional Product lines.This role blends market understanding, product knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure Gore’s products meet customer needs, remain competitive, and deliver strong value internally and externally. In this role, you will contribute to the development of product strategy and roadmaps for assigned product lines and maintain commercial product concepts considering evolving customer needs and competitive offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day product lifecycle activities to ensure fitness for use, including supply continuity, quality topics, cost changes, and product updates.
  • Partner closely with regional sales teams as primary product contact on customer qualification efforts or product line performance topics and be the primary point of contact for Fitness for Use issues.
  • Monitor product performance through KPIs such as revenue, margin, pricing trends, and cost of goods sold.
  • Drive execution of product transitions, extensions, or rationalization efforts.
  • Translate customer insights into actionable product improvement opportunities and build business cases to gain support for execution
  • Work with PM and Innovation Product Lead to ensure handover of NPD to commercial team
  • Build strong understanding of customer applications, performance requirements, and system-level needs.
  • Support customer engagements, including product capability discussions and application support in partnership with Sales and App E.
  • Contribute to business case development, customer requirement definitions, and technical feasibility assessments for new product developments aligned with the assigned product lines
  • Assist with new product launch planning, including supporting development of messaging, training materials, and confirming market readiness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3–6+ years of experience in product management, marketing, technical sales, engineering, or commercial roles.
  • Abilty to contribute to the creation of product strategy, customer value, and market-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and make clear recommendations.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to travel 15-20%

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in advanced materials, industrial, aerospace, mobility, or other technical B2B markets.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management and basic financial concepts (margin, pricing, cost drivers).
  • Exposure to new product development or commercialization processes.
