About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Management System Coordinator to join the Shenzhen (SZ) Quality team. In this role, you will be responsible for the compliance of Gore Fabrics SZ Plant Quality Management System to internal and external standards. As a Management System Coordinator, you will be driving successful audits for ISO:9001 and supporting other external Management System audits. You will participate in developing the overall Management System strategy, identifying areas for improvement and driving solutions.

This position will be located at our facility in Shenzhen, China.

Responsibilities

  • The Quality Management Systems Coordinator will be responsible for the development, implementation, improvement, and continuous reinforcement of Quality Management processes.
  • Ensures compliance in accordance with documented procedures for all aspects of functional responsibility including an understanding of upcoming changes to the applicable standards.
  • Develops and provides a QMS training program both for internal and external customers.
  • Conducts regional Integrated Management Systems (IMS) reviews.
  • Plans and leads internal and external audits in compliance with ISO:9001. This includes accountability for preparing the Plant Associates for audits.
  • Prepares, responds, and manages all external communications applicable to Registrars and internal communication to cross functional teams about risks found during audits.
  • Ensure that Management System software is appropriately implemented and Associates are trained in its use.
  • Participates in strategy development related to the Gore Fabrics Integrated Management System.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working within ISO:9001 Quality Management System.
  • 5+ years of experience in auditing ISO:9001 and/ or certified lead auditor to ISO:9001.
  • Experience being the Quality Representative/ leading 3rd party audits through developing audit plans, assigning audit tasks, conducting audit meetings, defining corrective actions, and managing follow-up activities.
  • A proven track record of significant process and/or product improvements.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and team skills, including ability to influence large teams, actively engage and partner with manufacturing, leadership and interact with customers.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong computer skills; experienced with Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with ISO: 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO: 45001 Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Textile related experience
  • Experience in Reliance, SAP
