About the Role
We are looking for an SAP SuccessFactors Performance, Career, Succession & Learning – Functional Specialist to join our Human Resources Digital Services & Products team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will focus on the steady‑state support and reliability of performance, career, and succession solutions. You will ensure talent processes run smoothly during active cycles while supporting incremental enhancements and optimization efforts as needed. This role partners closely with HR process and business stakeholders, translating defined business needs into scalable functional designs and configurations for the performance, career, and succession solutions.
Responsibilities
- Sustain and support Performance Management, Goal Management, Career, and Succession and Learning (LMS) modules in a production environment
- Support active performance and talent cycles
- Monitor and resolve configuration and data issues
- Maintain templates, route maps, calibration, and talent matrices and learning structures (e.g., courses, assignments)
- Partner with Employee Central and Learning (LMS) solutions on position, talent, and development data dependencies.
- Support incident resolution, root‑cause analysis, and defect remediation
- Execute testing for fixes, releases, and minor enhancements
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configuration workbooks, functional specifications, process flows, and user guides for reference and audit purposes.
- Support system upgrades and participate in release activities
- Adjust configurations for new releases, patches, and updates, implementing optimizations and enhancements as appropriate
- Evaluate new module capabilities and assess requested changes to recommend improvements that enhance user experience, process efficiency and learning.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors experience, with deep expertise in configuring and supporting [module] functionality.
- SAP SuccessFactors Certification in [module] or multiple modules with strong understanding of [module] processes and their integration with other SuccessFactors modules.
- Solid technical foundation with ability to engage in architecture, design, and interface discussions while educating technical teams on business principles.
- Proven expertise in SAP configuration tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Demonstrated success in SAP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve configuration issues.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills; ability to create clear documentation and deliver presentations on complex SAP design topics.
- Ability to work effectively with global teams, coordinating work delivery between onsite and offshore locations.
- Familiarity with industry best practices for SAP SuccessFactors configuration and optimization.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with multiple end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors implementation projects, including global rollouts.
