About the Role
Gore Medical is seeking a driven, Sydney-based marketing professional to join our team as a Marketing Communications Associate. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of bringing innovative medical technologies to market—powering the execution of compelling, compliant marketing initiatives that make a real difference. Working in close partnership with Brand Managers, the Marketing Events team, cross-functional stakeholders, and external agencies, you will turn strategy into action—delivering high-impact marketing programs in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment across the Australia & New Zealand Medical business.
The role requires strong project management, graphic design ability, cross-functional collaboration, and a solid understanding of marketing communications processes, including MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) compliance. It is a hybrid role that will require 3 days in the Belrose office and 2 days working from home
Responsibilities
- Partner with Brand Managers to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns and activities aligned to regional and global strategies
- Leverage customer journey insights and segmentation to develop targeted assets and activation strategies across relevant channels
- Create and localise campaign assets, including booth builds, to support product launches and regional marketing objectives across ANZ Medical (Cardiac, Surgical Solutions and Vascular)
- Develop high-quality, MLR-approved marketing materials and manage the end-to-end MLR approval process in compliance with branding and regulatory standards
- Support media planning coordination, campaign execution logistics and performance analytics providing insights and recommendations
- Drive the development and execution of marketing communications initiatives, including digital platforms and tools
- Review agency-delivered creative assets to ensure alignment with brand guidelines, accuracy, and adherence to the approved creative brief
- Monitor competitor marketing communications activities and share insights with stakeholders to inform strategy
- Collaborate with global and regional creative teams to effectively adapt and leverage campaign assets for local markets
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and scopes of work, ensuring delivery within agreed parameters
- Develop and maintain project status reports, lead status meetings, and proactively identify and mitigate risks
- Support regional events by maintaining and updating marketing assets (e.g., banners, videos) and coordinating event logistics such as promotional materials and apparel
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing communications experience, with a strong digital focus
- Experience coordinating agencies or external vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team to forge relationships with cross-functional partners and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to drive collaboration with internal partners and external agencies on the creation of campaigns, strategies and messaging to meet business objectives with target customers
- Demonstrated ability to understand the Marketing Tech Stack, recommend actions that deliver measurable results (e.g. web, CRM, sales channel, digital, email, social, etc.), and use of metric/KPIs related to marketing activities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) InDesign, etc.
- Experience in Workfront, MS Project, Veeva PromoMats or equivalent
- Analytical mindset with experience in campaign performance tracking
- High attention to detail with strong quality control mindset
- Ability to travel up to 10%
