This is a temporary position.

The Company

The Morning Star Company and its affiliates operate three tomato processing facilities in Central California, processing over 1/3 of the California processing tomato crop, in addition to tomato transplanting, farming, harvesting and trucking operations. The company employs over 500 year-round and approximately 4,000 seasonal Colleagues.

The Morning Star Company is the largest independent producer of bulk tomato ingredient products (tomato paste and diced tomatoes) in the world. We also produce canned tomatoes, tomato products and specialty sauces in pouches for customers in the retail and food service markets. The Mission and Position

This role is seasonal in nature and is expected to last about 6 months.

This colleague’s Mission will be to support sales and marketing activities through successful execution of administrative practices and procedures.

Specific Responsibilities and Activities
  1. Provide routine and ad-hoc customer reporting, including:
    1. Contract Balance Reports
    2. Customer specific movement reports
    3. Special requests (i.e. pricing history, complaint history, etc…)
The successful candidate will demonstrate competent computer and software skills and have reasonable experience in commercial organizations—or be smart and intent enough to quickly learn. Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience is desired.

Knowledge of general sales processes is preferred, and specific experience in sales analysis is a plus. Additional key personal characteristics include impeccable integrity, conscientiousness, decisiveness and self-confidence.

The wage for this role is $24.00 to $26.50 per hour, depending upon qualifications.
