We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake and dbt to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in modern data platforms and analytics engineering environments, enabling a quick ramp-up into the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines
• Work extensively with Snowflake, including:
• Warehouse management
• Query optimization
• Data modelling
• Develop and manage transformation workflows using dbt (Core & Cloud) Implement:
• Incremental models
• Macros
• Testing frameworks in dbt
• Write efficient and complex SQL queries for data transformation
• Use Python for data engineering tasks, including:
• Snowflake stored procedures
• Airflow DAG development
• Work with AWS services such as:
• Airflow
• S3
• Glue
• Firehose
• Apply dimensional modelling techniques (star/snowflake schema)
• Collaborate with data analysts, product teams, and stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Experience with dbt (Core & Cloud)
• Advanced proficiency in SQL
• Experience in Python for data engineering and pipeline scripting
• Hands-on experience with AWS ecosystem (Airflow, S3, Glue, Firehose)
• Solid understanding of dimensional modelling concepts
• Experience in a Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering role
