For our "Business Enablement & Innovation" team in the IT department, we are looking for a Generative AI Engineer (f/d/m) at the Freiburg im Breisgau office, as soon as possible.
We are currently facing the challenge of evaluating a wide variety of AI services and making them centrally available to our employees. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Generative AI Engineer with several years of experience in data science and machine learning, preferably with experience in NLP, generative AI, LLMs, MLOps, optimization techniques and AI solution architecture.In this position, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of AI solutions using your technical expertise.
With our "Business Enablement and Innovation" team, we are the first point of contact for our business units on a wide range of technology issues.
What you can expect:
- Identification and evaluation of AI technologies for usage within the company
- Evaluation and selection of AI models such as GPT3.5, GPT4, OLlama or Stable Difussion, etc.
- Development of architecture solutions and best-practice scenarios
- Consulting and conception of individual use cases in the Haufe Group products
- Implementation and operation of AI solutions
- Design, implementation and evaluation of experiments
- Participation in overarching working groups and committees
- Collaboration in the introduction of strategic guard rails
What you bring with you:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field
- Extensive experience in AI/ML technologies and software development
- Knowledge and experience in the field of Generative AI and knowledge of methods and guidelines that ensure the trustworthy handling and use of AI technologies
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, Javascript and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, experience in monitoring and logging and advanced knowledge of the AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Knowledge of cloud architectures, data engineering and security practices in the field of AI and experience in data engineering including data curation and processing
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Initial experience with HTML and CSS
- Good knowledge of German (at least B2) and good knowledge of English
