Senior BESS Specialist – Poland
Everoze is expanding its presence in Poland and is looking for a Senior BESS & Renewable Energy Consultant.
You will join a growing and dynamic international team spanning the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Portugal. This is a unique opportunity to help grow Everoze’s Polish business at a pivotal moment in the energy transition. You will build our local presence, supported by an established team of around 90 consultants across Europe, including Polish-speaking colleagues. We are looking for motivated and experienced consultants who are excited by responsibility and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Salary: A competitive salary related to your experience, plus pension scheme and annual profit share.
- Location: Poland (hybrid working possible).
We plan to establish a permanent office in Poland. While Warsaw is our preferred hub, we’re open to other locations if that enables the right candidate to build and grow our local team.
- Hours: We support flexible ways of working. While full-time is preferred, we are open to discussing part-time arrangements for the right candidate.

Your role
You will play a key role in growing Everoze’s presence in Poland’s battery storage and energy flexibility market. Alongside delivering consultancy services to clients, you will help expand our network, win new business and strengthen our long-term presence in Poland.
You will advise clients on battery energy storage, hybrid renewable energy and flexibility projects throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with colleagues across Europe and supporting projects in other markets where required.

Key responsibilities
- Technical Due Diligence: Assessment of BESS projects (technology, design, contracts, financial model, etc.) for acquisitions or financing – as a project director, project manager and in supporting roles.
- Project support: Advising project developers from design through commissioning.
- Site visits: Participation in testing, construction monitoring, quality control, and stakeholder interface.
- Business development: in BESS, hybrid and potentially other renewables sectors, to build client relationships, team and win work in Poland.
- Project management: Managing multiple projects with internal and external resources.
Requirements
- Engineering degree, or equivalent (Master’s level).
- Demonstrated electrical engineering experience.
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in consultancy.
- String knowledge of BESS projects and technical due diligence.
- Good understanding of the Polish renewable energy market, grid connection and permitting process.
- Strong network and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing projects and mentoring junior consultants.
- Excellent written and spoken Polish and English.
- Comfortable working in a self-managed, entrepreneurial environment.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in other renewable technologies (solar, wind, etc.)
- Expertise in grid and electrical systems.
- Experience of ESG due diligence or sustainable finance.
- Experience in other European energy markets.
