Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced EE Front-End Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic engineering, with a focus on front-end design, prototype testing, and platform expertise. This role involves close collaboration with customer, gathering essential information for EE design, and ensuring seamless integration of camera modules testing Platform. The candidate should also have a proven track record in writing scripts to automate and streamline processes.
Qualification Requirements:
1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
2. At least 5 years of experience in EE front-end design and prototype testing (camera testing experience is higher preferred).
3. Proficiency in gathering information for EE design, including SI/PI budgets and sensor configuration files.
4. Hands-on experience with lab testing of EE prototypes and troubleshooting hardware issues.
5. In-depth knowledge of testing platform and ability to support team members with EE design issues.
6. Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Lua, ability to interpret sensor ERS documents and generate I2C command sequences.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
Main Tasks / Responsibilities:
1. EE Front End Design:
- Collaborate with customer to gather information for EE design, including SI/PI budgets, sensor configuration files, and MCO files.
- Ensure the front-end design meets all specified requirements and standards.
2. Lab Testing of Prototypes:
· Conduct lab testing of prototypes to validate design and functionality.
· Document test results and provide detailed reports on findings. collaborate with the engineering team to iterate on prototypes and address test failures.
3. Scripting and Automation:
· Write scripts (Python/Lua) to automate processes and improve efficiency.
· Generate I2C command sequences in Python scripts based on sensor ERS documents, enabling the integration of new modules on the Folio Platform.
4. End-to-End Design Liaison
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams (SCH design, PCB Layout, SI/PI simulation, software, mechanical engineering, and assembly) to ensure designs meet all technical, performance, and manufacturing requirements.
· Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and align on solutions.
