About the role

We’re looking for a Solutions Sales Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with senior sales professionals, engineers, and domain experts—gradually taking on more responsibility as you progress toward independently managing opportunities. If you have experience in high-tech B2B sales, a strong desire to develop your skills, and a genuine excitement for complex technologies, we’d love to meet you!

At Cosylab, we build advanced software and control systems for some of the most complex technologies in the world — from particle accelerators and fusion reactors to semiconductor manufacturing systems, quantum devices, radiation oncology platforms, and large-scale scientific infrastructure. Our software is embedded in groundbreaking international projects like ITER, FAIR, ESS, and leading cancer treatment centers using state-of-the-art proton and radiation therapy systems. Projects we work on are shaping the future of science and engineering.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Sales of Cosylab’s software and engineering solutions for complex control systems in high-tech and scientific sectors.
  • Discover and understand clients’ goals and challenges to shape tailored high added value solutions – with support from senior sales and technical experts.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for key accounts and opportunities (with the help of mentorship from senior sales and domain experts).
  • Grow and maintain a global pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Work closely with engineers, domain experts, and delivery teams to shape proposals and support successful deal closure.
  • Participate in customer visits and industry events.

Required qualifications and skills

  • More than 2 years of experience in B2B sales in software, engineering, or other high-tech sectors.
  • Experience engaging with customers and developing relationships; interest in consultative, value-based sales.
  • Proficiency in innovative and modern sales techniques.
  • Sufficient technical knowledge to understand complex high-tech projects and recognize the customers’ needs.
  • Problem-solving drive and strong ownership mindset.
  • Strong communication skills coupled with a proactive and collaborative working style.

Education

  • BSc. In Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related technical disciplines.
  • Full working proficiency in spoken and written English.
