As a Software Project Manager, you will lead complex software development projects, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure high-quality delivery. Over time, you can develop into a team lead who mentors future project managers and play an increasingly important role in business development within our accelerator domain.
We understand that our domain is specialized, so don’t worry if you’re not familiar with accelerators; we will provide you with the necessary knowledge as you work with us.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of software development projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
- Participate in the sales process, understand the customer’s needs, and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Develop project plans and timelines and track progress against milestones.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and of high quality.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate when necessary.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and other team members.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and ensure alignment toward project goals and customer expectations.
- Apply both technical understanding and strong people skills to creatively solve challenges during complex projects.
Required qualifications and skills
- 3+ years of experience as a project manager with a proven track record of delivering software development projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Experience working with international clients.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Developed communication skills and an open mind for discussion and team collaboration.
Education
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or other related technical disciplines.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Bonus points if you have
- A technical/engineering background in software, hardware, or embedded systems.
- Previous experience managing projects in the software services industry.
- Experience with managing large accounts.
