Complex Care Practitioner
Full-time
Dumbarton, UK
Looking for a job where you can genuinely make a difference?
We’re looking for kind, compassionate and enthusiastic people to join #TeamBaxterView as Complex Care Practitioners, supporting six individuals to live happy, independent and fulfilling lives in their own homes.
📍 Up to 39 hours per week
💛 Full training and support provided you need to develop into a confident Complex Care Practitioner.
Meet the people you’ll support
We support people with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, to live as independently as possible.
One lady we support loves being out and about — whether that’s shopping, coffee, dinner or heading to her clubs. She’s sociable, kind, funny and loves a bit of banter with her team. She also enjoys having her hair and make-up done every day.
One of the gentlemen we support is a huge football fan. He loves following his team, going to matches, enjoying a pint and having a bet on the football. He likes keeping busy, getting out into the community and chatting to people along the way — and he always looks forward to a holiday!
One day you might be supporting someone to get out for a coffee, go shopping or attend their favourite club. Another day could involve helping someone manage their home, enjoy their hobbies, meet friends or head out to watch their football team.
No two people are the same — and no two days are the same. This is an exciting time to join our team as we prepare to welcome a new individual to Baxter View.
Life skills count too
You’ll need to be comfortable working independently and, with the right training and support, be willing to develop your confidence in supporting people whose behaviour may sometimes be challenging.
We want individuals who are passionate about the people we support having the same opportunities, choices and experiences as everyone else.
Shift Patterns
We provide dedicated around the clock support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so our shift patterns do involve early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays and sleepovers. We have a mixture of short and long shifts.
You’ll also receive:
- Funded qualifications & ongoing career development
- SSSC registration and PVG fees paid
- Up to £500 towards driving lessons
- No uniform - wear your own clothes
- Employee discounts, including shopping, cinema, holidays & gyms
- 24/7 employee support

Could this be you?
You don't need a perfect CV, you don't need years of experience - You just need the right attitude, a caring nature and a willingness to learn.
