Support Practitioner (Female)
Customer Service · Part-time
Clydebank, UK
Could you be the person who makes someone’s day? Start a career where what you do really matters.
What if your job wasn't just about getting through the day — but about helping someone live their best life?
We're looking for females* who are either starting out, changing careers, or looking for something flexible - we've got part-time ( 30 hours per week) roles waiting for you in Dumbarton.
🌟 No two days are the same
Forget sitting behind a desk doing the same thing every day.
As a Support Practitioner, you'll be part of people's everyday lives and help them do the things that are important to them.
That could mean:
• 🍳 Cooking a favourite meal together
• 🏡 Supporting someone to maintain their own home
• 🌳 Gardening or getting out into the community
• 🧶 Enjoying hobbies such as knitting
• 💃 Going along to a dance class
• ☕ Sharing a chat and a cup of tea
• 🚗 Going on days out and exploring new places
• 🎯 Supporting someone to achieve a personal goal
It's the little moments that can make the biggest difference. You'll be there to encourage, support and empower people — not to do everything for them. Your role is to help people build confidence, develop independence and have the freedom to make their own choices.
💛 You don't need experience — just the right attitude
Never worked in social care before? That's okay.
You don't need to have all the answers. We'll give you the training, support and confidence you need to become great at your role.
You'll be paid while you train, have access to funded, recognised qualifications, and have a team around you every step of the way.
What matters most is that you're someone who:
- Is kind, patient and compassionate
- Enjoys helping others and making a difference
- Is positive and willing to try new things
- Works well as part of a team
- Is willing to learn and develop
- Respects people's choices, independence and individuality
- Is confident using computers and tablets
🚗 Can you drive? Great — but it's not essential. A full UK manual driving licence with at least one year's driving experience would be beneficial for this role, but it's not a deal-breaker for the right person.
