Looking for a part-time role that’s rewarding, varied and genuinely makes a difference? At #TeamBeltane, we’re looking for enthusiastic and caring Support Practitioners to join our team on a part-time basis, working between 16 and 30 hours per week.

As a Support Practitioner, you’ll play an important role in supporting two young men as they move on from school and take their next steps towards adulthood.

No two days will be the same. You’ll help them build confidence, develop independence and discover new experiences, while supporting them to make choices and work towards their own goals. From celebrating the small wins to being there for the bigger milestones, you’ll get to see first-hand the positive difference your support can make.

You’ll be encouraged to take an active interest in their hobbies and interests, which currently include:

Shift patterns

Our team provides tailored support with shifts typically being from 8am-4pm 7 days a week. Weekends and public holidays will form part of you rota on a rotational basis. Due to the needs of the people we support, there might be evenings involved depending on their activities.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.

Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
