Our fabulous #TeamFairyhill are on the lookout for an outgoing and bubbly *female colleague. Do you have with bags of enthusiasm and motivation and we are understanding? If you can think outside the box when trying new things you might be the new part time (16 hours per week) Support Practitioner we are looking for.
The role and the individual you will support
Working as part of our small team you’ll be supporting a young lady who loves nothing more than keeping active. From taking part in social activities to going to night clubs and themed ‘Come Dine With Me’ events with her friends, there is never a dull moment
You’ll be providing practical and emotional 1:1 support within her home and support while out in the community. By taking a person-centred approach, you will get to know the lady we support where you will encourage independence and help her recognize her potential. Part of your role will include developing and maintaining personal plans along with other relevant duties.
Due to the person we support having their own mobility car, we will need you to have a full UK manual drivers licence with at least a years experience on the roads.

Shift Patterns
Our dedicated team provides person-centred support seven days a week, between 8am and 8pm and will include weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us. We will also need you to meet the requirements of the insurance required to drive the people we support's mobility car.
