Our fabulous #TeamAberlour is looking to complete their team and now recruiting for an understanding and enthusiastic individual with great chat to join them as a Support Practitioner supporting a young man with Autism in his own home.
The role and the individual you will support
As a Support Practitioner, you'll play an important role in supporting a young man with all aspects of daily life, including household tasks, medication support, personal care, and managing finances.
He enjoys an active lifestyle and has a range of interests, including going for walks, attending discos, listening to music, bowling, and getting out and about in his car. You'll support him to take part in the activities he enjoys while also helping him explore new opportunities, build connections, and work towards his personal goals and aspirations.
For this role, you'll need a full UK manual driving licence and at least one year's driving experience.

Shift Patterns
We provide 24/ 7 tailored support in the pattern for this service can vary depending on the day. There are changes on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday due to day service commitments for the young man. There are also sleepovers that will form part of your rota but there is an additional pay for these shifts.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
