You're in luck as our amazing #TeamCraigie in Perth are now on the lookout for a caring and reliable individual to join them on a part-time (16 hours per week) basis. This is a fixed-term opportunity until February 2027.
Our team and the individual you'll support
As a Support Practitioner you'll become part of a friendly team who provides invaluable support to a fun loving gentleman with complex needs in his own home.
You'll build a genuine relationship with him and be part of moments that really matter; whether it's providing support to tend to his garden, achieve a goal, try something new or just feel understood.
In addition to supporting with all aspects of his daily living, you'll also help him to enjoy his hobbies and interests too, including day trips, gardening, full scale modelling and classic cars.

About You
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll pay you for your training and will even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and SSSC registration fees too!
As the gentleman that we support has his own mobility car, it would be great if you bring a full UK manual driving license, but this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidate.
All we’ll need you to bring is: -
- A full manual driving licence as this gentleman has his own mobility car
- Confidence to support in the water as swimming is a regular activity.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- A caring attitude and approach.
- A positive approach to learning.
- An understanding of the importance of routines and guidelines.
- Confidence in the use of computers.
Shift patterns
As we're dedicated to providing the best 24/7 support possible, shift patterns for opportunity is currently one day per week 0830-0830 hours (includes a sleepover).
The sleepover part of a sleepover shift is not included in your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional £100.80 for each sleepover worked.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
