Our fabulous #TeamWeavers is on the lookout for a caring and motivated female* colleague to them as a Support Practitioner on a permanent part-time (28 hours per week) basis.
The Role
As a Support Practitioner, you'll support the individuals with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, support to activities and appointments, managing personal finances, assisting with medication and personal care.
The lady you will be supporting enjoys attending a local group within the community and all things sensory! When she isn't out and about in the community or attending Cornerstone's parties, she enjoys spending time with her family. With your guidance and support, you'll help the people we support to maintain their own homes and be an active member of their local community.
About You
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll pay you for your training and even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!
What we need you to bring: -
- A caring and compassionate attitude and approach
- The ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative
- Good communication skills
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Confidence in the use of computers
Having a full UK Manual driving licence would be beneficial for this role but isn't essential as the gentleman does have his own mobility car.
Shift Patterns
Our dedicated team provide support 7 days a week between the hours of 0830-2230 shifts including weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis. Shifts may occasionally vary depending on the needs of the people we support and activities planned.
