Our team and the individuals you'll support
The individuals we support live in the Coatbridge, Airdrie & Bellshill areas. You'll provide support them to maintain their own tenancies and with all aspects of their daily living, including cooking and meal planning, household tasks, personal care, medication and managing finances.
As well as helping the people we support in their own homes, you’ll support them to do the things they enjoy out in their community, including going to the football and gym, visiting museums, playing board games, day trips and going to the cinema. You'll also support them to maintain relationships with their friends and family whilst discovering new things to enjoy together.
We'll guarantee you heaps of job satisfaction; no two days are ever the same. You'll play a HUGE part in making a difference in the lives of people living with disabilities and additional support needs in your local community.
About You
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll pay you for your training and will even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!
All we’ll need you to bring is: -
- A full UK drivers license with a minimum of 1 years' experience on the roads so that you can drive the people we supports' mobility cars
- A caring, compassionate attitude and approach
- The ability to work well in a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- The ability to cook healthy meals
- Confidence in the use of computers
Shift Patterns
We understand the importance of a good work/life balance, so we try to be as flexible as possible with our shift patterns. Our team currently deliver support between the hours of 0830-2130 hours, 7 days a week. Weekends and public holidays would form part of your rota on a rotational basis.
Shift length can be anything between 4 and 10 hours, depending on what suits you and the person you will be supporting. There will be times where you will provide support to more than one person in one day.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
