Shift patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible, shift patterns would usually fall into the hours of 0830-0830 hours (includes a sleepover).


The Role

Our relief colleagues play an incredibly important role within our teams. As a relief colleague, you will step in to make sure that we still provide excellent care and support during times of annual leave, training or sickness.

As part of #TeamCraigie, you'll provide 1-2-1 support to a fun loving gentleman with complex support needs within his own home. Your main aim will be supporting his day to day personal needs, including housework, personal care and medication.

We'll need you to be fun and outgoing but also enjoy quiet times with the ability to think of fun activities to do on rainy days too. Some of this gentleman's hobbies and interests include day trips, church, gardening, full scale modelling and classic cars.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too!

What we'll need you to bring:-

• Good communication skills
• A caring attitude and approach
• A positive approach to learning
• The ability to cook
• Confidence in the use of computers

It would be great if you also have:-

• A full, clean driving license as this gentleman has his own mobility car and enjoys going out for drives, but this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidate.
