The Role
The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same. You'll become part of a fun, friendly team who supports five individuals to live within their own shared home. The house has a friendly, homely atmosphere and the people we support’s needs and wishes are at the centre of our planning, both within the service and for activities out with.
As well as supporting the individuals with all aspects of daily living, including housework, cleaning, medication, shopping and finances, we'll also need you to be enthusiastic and creative supporting with their hobbies and interests to which include swimming, going to the cinema & theatre, walking, eating out, arts & crafts, baking and gardening to name a few.
About You
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills and will give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7 qualification and SSSC registration fees too!
All we need you to bring is;
- A caring and compassionate attitude
- The ability to work well in a team
- Confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity
- Great communication and organisational skills
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Confidence in the use of computers
It would also be great if you have a full driving license, however, this isn’t a deal breaker for the right candidates.
Shift Patterns
As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual the shifts usually fall into patterns between the hours of 0700-2300 hours and will include sleepovers, weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.
The sleepover shift is not included in your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional £96 for every sleepover shift worked!

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
