What you'll do

Build and maintain Kubernetes Operators and controllers using Go. Develop CRDs and reconciliation logic to automate provisioning, upgrades, scaling, and recovery. Write maintainable code with automated tests, improve CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot production issues. Work with architects, SREs, and security teams to build secure, observable, and reliable platforms.

Must haves

3+ years of relevant engineering experience, with hands-on Go development and production Kubernetes experience. Experience building or maintaining Operators or controllers. Working knowledge of Kubernetes APIs, CRDs, reconciliation loops, finalizers, and status reporting. Understanding of retries, failure handling, and idempotency. Experience with unit and integration testing, Git, CI/CD, Helm, and GitOps. Strong Linux, containers, networking, and troubleshooting fundamentals. Practical knowledge of RBAC, secrets management, and workload isolation. Clear communication and ownership of engineering work

Good to haves

Experience with Kubebuilder, Operator SDK, controller-runtime, or client-go. Exposure to Terraform, Argo CD or Flux, and EKS, AKS, or GKE. Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana, admission webhooks, or backup and recovery automation. Kubernetes or cloud certifications are a plus.
