What you'll do

Design, build, and maintain automated test suites with Playwright and Typescript. Architect scalable automation frameworks that outlive any single project. Run functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing across web apps. Automate API tests in typescript. Wire automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Analyze results, hunt defects, and close the loop with developers. Review requirements early and call out testability gaps before they become bugs. Keep coverage growing and execution fast.

Must haves

• 3 to 5 years in software testing and test automation. Strong hands-on in Playwright typescript and Pytest experience.
• Solid grounding in web automation and end-to-end testing. API testing and automation experience.
• Automation-first mindset with an eagerness to leverage AI tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.
• Framework design patterns like Page Object Model. Git, plus CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
• Comfortable in Agile/Scrum with distributed teams, Sharp analytical, Debugging and Communication Skills.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field; testing/automation certifications a plus.

Good to haves

• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools or an interest in building simple AI agents and orchestrating AI workflows to enhance testing processes.
• An automation-first instinct — owning quality initiatives end to end and not waiting for tickets.
• Selenium WebDriver, SQL and database testing, Docker and containerized test execution, AWS or Azure exposure and performance testing tools.
