Are you a Product Owner passionate about gaming and excited to shape products built with cutting-edge real-time 3D technology?
Join Camplight and work with an experienced team on an ambitious gaming project where product thinking, player experience, and real-time 3D technology come together.
You’ll play a central role in defining what we build, why we build it, and how we turn ideas into engaging experiences powered by Unreal Engine and Unity.
What you’ll be working on?
You’ll be joining a partner project in the gaming industry focused heavily on real-time 3D technologies, with Unreal Engine and Unity playing a central role in the product.
The project involves building and evolving interactive gaming experiences where gameplay, visual quality, performance, and user experience are equally important.
You’ll work closely with game designers, developers, artists, technical artists, QA specialists, and other stakeholders to transform product ideas into clear, actionable requirements and deliver experiences that meet both player and business needs.
The product is technically complex and highly visual, requiring a Product Owner who can comfortably operate at the intersection of product management, game development, and real-time 3D technology.
Your Role
As a Product Owner, you’ll take ownership of the product backlog and work closely with the development team and partner stakeholders to define priorities, clarify requirements, and ensure that the team is always working on the highest-value initiatives.
You’ll be responsible for translating business objectives and player needs into clear product requirements while maintaining a strong understanding of the technical realities of developing a game using Unreal Engine and Unity.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Owning and continuously refining the product backlog.
- Defining product priorities based on player needs, business objectives, technical considerations, and project goals.
- Working closely with game designers, developers, artists, technical artists, QA, and other specialists.
- Creating clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements.
- Breaking down complex features into actionable development tasks.
- Working closely with Unreal Engine and Unity development teams.
- Understanding the capabilities and limitations of real-time 3D technologies well enough to participate in meaningful technical discussions.
- Helping the team make informed trade-offs between scope, quality, technical complexity, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinating feature development from initial concept through implementation, testing, and release.
- Gathering and incorporating feedback from stakeholders, players, and the development team.
- Maintaining a clear product vision and communicating it effectively to the team.
- Identifying dependencies, risks, and potential blockers before they impact delivery.
- Supporting sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and other team ceremonies.
- Working with stakeholders to align expectations and communicate progress.
- Using data, feedback, and qualitative insights to guide product decisions.
- Continuously looking for opportunities to improve the product development process and player experience.
