Are you a senior mobile developer ready to shape innovative products and turn ideas into real-world solutions with the help of AI?
Join Camplight and work on an exciting product in the energy and renewable sector. You’ll combine modern mobile development, AI-assisted engineering, rapid prototyping, and close collaboration with users to create intuitive experiences for monitoring and managing critical energy assets.
What you’ll be working on?
We are working on an innovative product for the energy and renewable sector that provides asset owners and operators with real-time operational insights and tools for monitoring and managing their facilities.
The product will give users access to critical information wherever they are, helping them monitor asset performance, investigate alarms, access operational data and dashboards, and support plant operations from the field or remotely.
The initial focus will be on rapidly building and validating mobile web applications, prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and pilot solutions with real customers and end users. Successful concepts will form the foundation for a long-term mobile strategy, including native iOS and Android applications.
The product will include experiences such as:
- Real-time equipment status and operational data
- Alarm monitoring and investigation
- Performance dashboards and insights
- Map-based views and geolocation
- Integration with APIs, cloud services, and operational data platforms
- AI-powered capabilities and LLM-based workflows where they provide meaningful value
This is an opportunity to influence not only the implementation, but also what the future of mobile interaction with energy assets looks like.
Your Role
As Lead Mobile Application Developer, you’ll take ownership of the mobile development direction from early concept through validation and towards production.
You’ll work closely with customers, end users, Product Management, UX designers, and backend engineers to turn real operational needs into useful, intuitive mobile experiences.
You will:
- Lead the design and development of the mobile application.
- Rapidly prototype ideas and develop POCs, MVPs, and pilot solutions.
- Build responsive, mobile-first web applications and PWAs.
- Use LLMs and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping, implementation, testing, and delivery.
- Explore and evaluate AI-powered product capabilities and their applicability to real user problems.
- Shape the architecture and roadmap for future native iOS and Android applications.
- Develop mobile experiences for equipment status, alarms, operational data, dashboards, and performance insights.
- Implement map-based experiences and geolocation capabilities.
- Integrate with APIs, cloud services, and operational data platforms.
- Gather feedback from customers and users and rapidly iterate on solutions.
- Ensure security, performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Contribute to testing, deployment, and release management.
- Help establish a sustainable path from successful prototypes to production-ready products.
