We are partnering with a major healthcare and pharmaceutical organization to help design and build their next-generation AI-powered platform. This system leverages machine learning and advanced data processing to support research, clinical decision-making, and operational efficiency. The platform handles sensitive healthcare data, integrates with multiple internal and external systems, and delivers intelligent insights to medical and research teams.

The platform includes:

• High-performance backend services built in Python
• AI/ML-driven data processing pipelines
• Secure APIs consumed by internal platforms and research tools
• Asynchronous task processing and distributed workloads
• Cloud-native infrastructure (AWS)
• Scalable architecture designed to handle large, complex healthcare datasets

You’ll contribute to building a production-grade AI system, focusing on performance, reliability, security, and scalability — while developing features that directly support innovation in healthcare and pharmaceutical research.

Your Role

As a Senior Python Developer, you will:

• Own backend architecture and implementation
• Design and develop scalable APIs and services
• Optimize performance and reliability
• Implement asynchronous and distributed processing solutions
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code
• Collaborate closely with engineers, AI specialists, and product stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience
• Strong experience with Django or FastAPI
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of asynchronous processing and message brokers
• Experience with AWS and Docker
• Strong grasp of software design principles and testing practices
• Experience with distributed or high-throughput systems
• Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines

What does the interview process look like?

2. Choose between two Technical Deep Dive options:

1. Homework Assignment: A short assignment (approximately 2 hours), followed by a 1-hour discussion.

2. Pair Programming: A 2-hour live technical session focused on pair programming and architecture.
