What you’ll be working on?

You’ll lead major programs and projects, spanning multiple teams and technologies, including cloud platforms and internal platform services. Your work will enable smooth delivery, high-quality outcomes, and clear communication across stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Running large, complex platform or cloud initiatives end-to-end
  • Coordinating delivery across multiple teams, including engineering, operations, and FIT teams
  • Driving project planning, execution, and scheduling
  • Tracking risks, dependencies, and blockers, ensuring proactive mitigation
  • Managing communication and updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership
  • Aligning project outcomes with organizational goals and strategic priorities
  • Supporting resource planning, budgeting, and capacity management

Your Role

Your role will focus on program leadership, cross-team coordination, and strategic delivery:

  • Take ownership of major platform or cloud initiatives from conception to completion
  • Facilitate collaboration across multiple teams, ensuring clarity and alignment
  • Establish project management standards, documentation, and best practices
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks, escalating issues when needed
  • Provide clear reporting, updates, and visibility for leadership and stakeholders
  • Coach and mentor project managers or team leads supporting your programs

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in program or project management for technology initiatives, ideally in platform or cloud environments
  • Proven experience running large, multi-team, and multi-platform projects end-to-end
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall)
  • Experience with risk management, resource planning, and stakeholder communication
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing technical teams, including project managers or team leads
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, platform engineering, or software development lifecycle
  • Experience in a cooperative or self-organizing team environment

What does the interview process look like?

  1. Initial Interview: A 45-minute cultural and technical interview with two Camplight team members to assess program management experience, leadership style, and approach to complex project delivery.
  2. Program / Project Deep Dive (choose one):
    1. Homework Assignment: A scenario-based project planning or risk management exercise (~2 hours) followed by a 1-hour discussion.
    2. Live Session: A 2-hour workshop simulating program coordination, cross-team facilitation, and stakeholder communication.
