What you’ll be working on?

We are supporting a partner in the HealthTech space who is building a platform to streamline healthcare operations, improve patient experience, and ensure medical providers have the right tools at the right time.

In this part-time contractor role, you’ll contribute to both feature development and infrastructure automation, while also handling ongoing maintenance of the existing solution to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.

This includes backend services in Node.js, data management with MongoDB, DevOps responsibilities for CI/CD and monitoring, and collaborating with the team to refine and expand the platform.

Your Role

As a part-time Fullstack Engineer (contractor), you will:

• Build and maintain full-stack features using Node.js and MongoDB.
• Handle maintenance and improvement of the existing platform.
• Collaborate on frontend development for a seamless user experience.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Ensure infrastructure scalability, monitoring, and reliability.
• Work closely with a small, agile team to deliver features end-to-end.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with Node.js and MongoDB
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React or similar)
• Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, containerization, infrastructure automation)
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong understanding of system reliability, scalability, and security
• Availability for part-time contractor work
