Senior Account Executive at Agileday - Copenhagen
Sales & Business Development
Copenhagen, Denmark
Are you ready to help reshape how professional services firms operate?
Hi, I’m Jaakko, one of the founders and CEO at Agileday, and I’m looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our growth and commercial team in Copenhagen.
Agileday is the agentic operating platform for professional services. Our product connects people, skills, staffing, sales, projects, time, and financials in one real-time platform.
AI is deeply embedded in our product. Agileday supports intelligent staffing, skills inference, forecasting, recommendations, content generation, and agent-driven workflows.
We are growing extremely fast and disrupting a $15B market, replacing tons of legacy software every day. Our customers operate in 11 different countries, and we are expanding into new markets fast.
We are investing heavily in our GTM scale-up, and we’re looking for a Senior Account Executive to help us accelerate our growth in Denmark and bring the power of Agileday to leading professional services firms.
The role
You’ll work at the intersection of consultative sales, industry expertise, and product evangelism.
Your focus will be on understanding the unique challenges of professional services leaders and demonstrating how Agileday’s connected AI operating platform can transform their business performance and employee experience.
You’ll work closely with our founders, sales and marketing team, Customer Success team, and product engineers to identify new market opportunities, refine our value proposition, and turn prospects into long-term partners.
As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll have meaningful influence over our go-to-market strategy and how we build a world-class sales culture at Agileday.
What you could work on
Depending on your experience and the priorities we define together, your work may include:
Owning and managing the full sales cycle from initial qualification to closing
Conducting high-level, tailored product demonstrations for C-suite stakeholders
Negotiating deals with international professional services firms
Gathering deep customer insights to inform the product roadmap
Collaborating with Marketing to refine outbound strategies and messaging
Building a predictable and compounding revenue engine in the Danish market
Partnering with Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding and expansion
The exact focus of the role will be shaped together with the person we hire. What matters is your ability to identify the right problems, apply strong commercial and strategic thinking, and build solutions that create real customer value.
What we’re looking for
You’ll likely feel at home in this role if you:
Have strong industry experience in professional services, management consulting, or a related sector and understand the operational challenges of these firms
Have proven consultative sales expertise in the B2B SaaS space
Are comfortable navigating complex organisational structures and buying committees
Possess a strong track record of closing high-value, complex deals
Can articulate clear business value to senior decision-makers in professional services
Are deeply curious about how companies work and find joy in solving customer problems
Communicate with clarity, empathy, and conviction across all channels
Thrive in an autonomous, fast-paced environment where results are measured by impact
Have a deep understanding of Danish business culture, an established network in the local market, and the ability to leverage that local intelligence as we build our presence in Denmark
Experience with value- and solution-based selling methodologies or scaling international sales territories is highly valuable.
At the same time, we care just as much about your judgement, curiosity, and ability to apply the right approach to the problem.
The team around you
We’re a fast-growing, international AI SaaS company with around 30 people, backed by international VCs.
Most of our organisation is focused on building and developing the product, supported by dedicated Customer Success and sales and marketing teams.
Our team is senior-leaning. You’ll work with experienced people who take ownership, challenge ideas, and move quickly without unnecessary layers.
We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We believe building a great company should be fun, and we work hard to keep our culture relaxed, supportive, and human even as we scale.
We bring the same mindset to our commercial environment. We work with high velocity and transparency, using modern tools, agentic GTM operations, and a high level of automation. We look for people who are curious about new ways of working and actively use technology to improve how they sell.
For you, that means working hand in hand with the founders on key accounts, having direct access to product leadership to influence the roadmap, and having the freedom to shape our sales playbook from the ground up.
About Agileday
We launched Agileday in 2023 to help professional services companies bring their people, sales, staffing, skills, projects, time, and financials into one connected operating platform.
If that sounds complicated, you should see the spreadsheets and disconnected systems many companies relied on before finding us.
Proof of the value is our lifetime client NPS of 80 and our ability to win against all major players in the marketplace.
Following our Series A funding round in January 2026, we’re scaling internationally with a growing focus on North America and other global markets, serving almost 100 leading professional services companies in 11 different countries.
We value ambition, expertise, autonomy, direct communication, and treating people well while doing demanding work.
Compensation and location
Our compensation combines a competitive mix of base salary, performance-based incentives, and a meaningful share of equity. The exact mix depends on your experience, preferences, and the scope of the role.
We’ll discuss compensation openly during the process to ensure expectations are aligned on both sides.
The role is based in Copenhagen and is remote-first. We expect you to be close to the local market and available to meet customers in person when relevant.
You’re also warmly welcome to visit our HQ in Espoo and meet the wider team whenever relevant.
Interested?
Start with “Hi”, skip the formalities, and tell us:
Why this role and Agileday caught your attention
Why you would be a great fit for the role
How you gained professional services industry experience
Which sales achievements you are most proud of
How you navigated a complex deal or transformed a customer’s business
Show us your real deals where possible. You can share a story, customer case, or achievement that helps us understand how you think and build.
We care more about relevant examples, sound judgement, and genuine curiosity than a generic cover letter.
We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We care about what you can contribute, how you think, and how you work with others.
